BARRIER Glider

Industry research shows that the proper sealing of doors is more important to halting energy loss than the R-factor insulation found within the doors. The BARRIER Glider from Rite-Hite Doors is designed to provide excellent sealing capabilities for refrigerated warehouses, grocery distribution centers and food processing facilities. This thermal air-sealing door creates a pressurized energy-saving seal using six-inch diameter fabric ducts that inflate to conform to the perimeter of the bi-parting doors. The ducts also bathe the surrounding floor, door and mechanisms with air movement to prevent ice buildups. The BARRIER Glider is impact resistant. Its flexible insulated panels, combined with its tubular track and hourglass roller mechanical design, withstand common industrial impacts without bending or suffering seal damage. Optional high-security locking fiberglass panels are also available.
