Salvo trailer/dock door interlock system

The Salvo trailer/dock door interlock system from Castell Interlocks is designed to prevent accidents caused by the unscheduled departure of trailers from the loading dock. The Salvo is first attached to the emergency Gladhand fitting of the trailer, which releases a uniquely coded trapped key. The Salvo cannot be removed without this key. The key is then inserted into the control panel, which automatically releases the door lock inside the building. A green light on the lock signals the dock attendant that it's safe to open the door and begin loading. Once the door is unlocked, the key is trapped in the panel outside and the light turns to red to signal the driver not to depart. When loading is complete and the door is again locked, the key is released and the Salvo can be removed.
