ETV C20 electric reach truck

Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp. introduces the ETV C20, an efficient new electric reach truck designed to stack and retrieve merchandise stored in high locations and in confined spaces. With its compact dimensions, the ETV C20 is suitable for use in aisles as narrow as 112.4 inches (9.3 feet). It can lift loads weighing up to 4,400 pounds to heights of up to 291.3 inches (24.3 feet).

Designed to be rugged, the truck comes with super-elastic tires that can negotiate both smooth and bumpy floor surfaces. Several weatherproof cabin configurations are offered as options for companies that intend to use the truck outdoors and during severe- weather conditions.

The truck's three-phase AC motor enables strong acceleration and eliminates hesitation when shifting into reverse. Because it has no carbon brushes to wear out, the AC motor is essentially maintenance-free. In addition, the truck reclaims its kinetic energy during braking and stores it back in the battery; as a result, operators waste less time on recharging stops.

Ergonomic features include a generous cabin workspace with plenty of legroom. Both the seat settings and the steering wheel angle can be adjusted to suit the operator. The ETV's SOLO-PILOT feature conveniently groups all essential controls in one location, including those for load lifting and lowering, travel direction, horn and the optional fork side-shift. Mast reach and mast tilt are controlled by two separate levers.
