China-U.S. East Coast/Gulf all-water container service

Evergreen Marine Corp. and COSCO (China Ocean Shipping Company) have launched a new China-U.S. East Coast/Gulf all-water container service to provide additional capacity during the peak shipping season. The new service, named CUE, has the following port rotation: Shanghai - Yantian - Hong Kong Colon - Savannah - Miami - Colon - Shanghai. Evergreen plans to provide additional service to South America using this service and connections to its North-South Americas shipping network from a dedicated terminal in Colon. Vessel deployment on the CUE service will consist of nine 2,700 TEU vessels. Evergreen will operate five vessels and COSCO will operate four.
