Real-Time Alarm Software

Onset Computer Corp. has introduced Real-Time Alarm Software for use with its battery-powered HOBO data loggers, which monitor environmental conditions in places like food warehouses and computer server rooms. The new alarm software automatically notifies users via cell phone text messages or e-mail when temperature, humidity and other conditions exceed userdefined limits. The software is able to provide alarm notification for multiple HOBO data loggers and can be used with inexpensive Ethernet servers. This makes it particularly useful in applications where numerous locations need to be monitored.

The Real-Time Alarm Tool is a plug-in software module to Onset's HOBOware software package. The software, available for both PC and Macintosh computers, features easy logger launch and readout functions, powerful data plotting capabilities, and an intuitive graphical user interface.
