Platinum BX Series lift trucks

Nissan Forklift introduces its Platinum BX Series of electric four-wheel sit-down rider lift trucks. These AC-powered trucks are available with capacities of 3,000, 3,500, 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 and 8,000 pounds. Cushion-tire models are also available with capacities of 3,000, 3,500, 4,000 and 5,000 pounds. The company says the series has been redesigned from the ground up to incorporate the latest in AC technology.

Standard features include Nissan's AC Tech all-AC controlled drive, hydraulics, and power steering system; improved performance with faster travel, lift and lower speeds; and three preset performance modes, including Economy, Normal, and High Performance. Personal Identification Numbers allow up to five operator-personalized performance settings. Operator comfort and convenience features include a full suspension cloth seat, audible back-up warning, easy-to-read meter panel, and a wide step for easy truck entry and exit.

Other features include a Risk Reduction System with a seat-actuated power interrupt system, controlled descent, and Nissan's cushioned stability control.
