NOVUS pre-configured film

New accessories are now available for the NOVUS air cushion packaging machine from FP International. NOVUS uses an internal air source to inflate pre-configured film in four different shapes that meet a wide variety of packaging needs: NOVUS Supertube can wrap corners; NOVUS Double Cushion is used for large void fill and to block and brace; and Quilt-Air Small and Large can be used for interleaving, wrapping and void fill.

With the new accessories, the NOVUS machine can be customized to individual requirements. The accessories include a pretear unit that partially separates the cushions; an automatic machine stand that lowers for easy film loading; a sonic sensor that automatically replenishes cushions as they are used; a foot pedal for hands-free operation; a dispensing arm to position cushions over a conveyor or pack station; and a bundle winder to make three-foot bundles for distribution to pack stations.
