Panel Built, Inc. manufactures a full line of prefabricated metal stair systems for companies and organizations in sectors ranging from manufacturing to the military. However, just because Panel Built's stair systems are fabricated beforehand in one of their modular construction facilities, does not mean that they provide a 'cookie cutter' metal stairs product. Each of Panel Built's metal stair projects are custom designed to meet each projects specific measurements and specifications, meaning Panel Built individually designs each project. But designing the right structure for the job goes beyond just height and width requirements in the world of stairs.
Panel Built also has the experience and know-how to provide a set of stairs that will meet the codes and ordinances necessary for the specific stair application. Typically, there are two standards that Panel Buitl's steel stairs will have to meet: either IBC or OSHA. Each standard has its own specific guidelines for when they are to be used. However, most people do not know that there are further stair code requirements when a stair system is being installed into a 'mercantile' area with heavy public foot traffic. These are the specific stair nuances that Panel Built helps their customers navigate through each prefabricated metal stair project.
