Former Walmart Executive Tracy Rosser Joins Transplace as EVP of Operations

May 22, 2019 (Dallas, TX) - Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services and logistics technology solutions, today announced the appointment of Tracy Rosser as the company's executive vice president of operations. Rosser will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the company's Transportation Management business unit. He will be based out of the company's Lowell, AR Center of Excellence and will report directly to CEO Frank McGuigan.

Rosser comes to Transplace after more than 22 years at Walmart, where he most recently served as senior vice president of transportation and supply chain. His responsibilities included all domestic and global transportation, strategy, procurement, Walmart's private fleet and last mile and supply chain services. During his time at Walmart, Rosser directed enterprise transformation and process improvement, propelling Walmart to be recognized for its best-in-class supply chain operational and efficiency excellence. Rosser also held several other leadership positions while at Walmart, including senior vice president of store operations, vice president of transportation and director of transportation. Prior to joining Walmart, Rosser spent nine years in the truckload transportation industry holding positions in sales, marketing and operations.
