NEW BREMEN, Ohio (May 14, 2019) - Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world's largest material handling companies, recently honored its top-performing distributors in Latin America and the Caribbean. Five distributors earned Ascent Awards for delivering outstanding sales and service performance results in 2018.

The 2018 Ascent Award winners are Distribuidora LARCE S.A. (Costa Rica); IMEQ Dominicana, S.R.L. (Dominican Republic); Lift Trucks & Parts, Inc. (Puerto Rico); Momatt S.A. de C.V. (Mexico); and Montacargas y Accesorios de Nicaragua, S.A. (Nicaragua).

This is the second Ascent Award for Distribuidora LARCE S.A., the third for Montacargas y Accesorios de Nicaragua, S.A. and Momatt S.A. de C.V., and the fourth for Lift Trucks & Parts, Inc. This year's win marked the sixth consecutive Ascent Award recognition for IMEQ Dominicana, S.R.L. — the distributorship has earned the award every year since its inception in 2013.

"The Latin America and Caribbean markets are home to many of Crown's international customers, and they merit the same level of customer support as our larger global regions," said Joe Ritter, director of operations in Latin America, Crown Equipment. "Our distributors in this region continue to invest in their businesses to provide a superior level of support for Crown's value-added products and services. We are very pleased to recognize this industrious group of distributors for their dedication to their customers and to Crown."

Crown operates a global service and distribution network that exceeds 500 locations in more than 80 countries. Crown's Latin America awards program is modeled after the company's North America awards program, both of which recognize outstanding achievements in sales and customer satisfaction.
