Southeastern Freight Lines Promotes Steve Kell to Service Center Manager in Kinston, North Carolina

Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Steve Kell has been promoted to service center manager in Kinston, North Carolina.

With over 17 years of experience at Southeastern, Kell started his career at the Hickory service center as a freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including linehaul and combo driver, pickup and delivery driver, inbound supervisor, and most recently, assistant service center manager in Hickory, North Carolina.

"Steve has an outstanding track record," said Kim Shore, regional vice president of operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. "He leads by example with his dedication to our culture of providing quality without question service. We can't wait to see him take our company to the next level in Kinston."

Kell will relocate to Kinston with his wife and two children. The family is looking forward to this opportunity and Kell is excited to serve the Southeastern team in a new capacity.
