FleetUp Appoints Charles Orlando as Vice President of Marketing

FleetUp, the premier provider of ELD/HOS compliance solutions for Intelligent Fleet Management, today announced the promotion of Charles Orlando to vice president of marketing effective immediately.

Orlando previously served as director of marketing and sales at FleetUp, where he oversaw all marketing, branding, demand generation and sales efforts for FleetUp, and was responsible for bringing in significant technology partners and customers including Aeris, Toshiba and Navistar.


"Since joining FleetUp in 2017, Charles has demonstrated excellence in business strategy, execution and team leadership," said Albert Son, CEO of FleetUp. "His extensive experience in software technology marketing made him a natural fit for the position and continues to be a valuable asset to the management team. We are confident in Charles' ability to lead the next phase of the company's growth and success in his new role."

In his new role, Orlando will continue to support FleetUp's mission to help companies maximize profitability, improve driver safety and comply with current and upcoming regulations more effectively by overseeing all marketing operations, branding, customer and public relations, as well as public speaking at industry events.

Prior to joining FleetUp, Orlando helped drive go-to-market strategy, acquisitions and developed awareness-building programs for companies such as Intuit and WebEx Communications. In addition to over 20 years of SaaS and software marketing experience, Orlando has a vast amount of experience in the broadcast and entertainment industries, including serving as an expert host on a Lifetime Channel television series.
