ClearMetal, a predictive logistics company, has been named the recipient of the 2017 North American Data Intelligence Platform for Logistics & Supply Chain Technology Leadership Award, by Frost & Sullivan.

Research firm Frost & Sullivan evaluates vendors for its Technology Leadership Award based on technology leverage and business impact.

"The logistics industry has been in need of support from a true digital perspective and ClearMetal's data intelligence platform successfully provides it," said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Sankara Narayanan. "This platform, by leveraging advanced AI, machine learning technologies and massive volumes of data, simplifies the overall supply chain complexity, enables a highly accurate and granular prediction of global trade events, improves supply chain management and efficiency, and drives profitability."

"Overwhelming complexity and uncertainty are pressing challenges that we're helping the shipping community address through AI and machine learning," said Adam Compain, CEO of ClearMetal. "Frost & Sullivan's research validates the work we are doing to empower shippers and 3PLs to make optimal decisions with certainty, based on more accurate and granular data intelligence and predictive insights."

Frost & Sullivan's data intelligence report points out that ClearMetal is solving the age-old data challenge with a unique solution. "The company's approach, from the technologies it uses to its highly granular nature of problem solving, is different from the way other companies are solving these problems. The predictive logistics approach from ClearMetal captures, organizes, and understands data, and makes it all more accessible, intelligent, and actionable. These actionable insights help its customers not only simplify the overall complexity in the supply chain and streamline day-to-day logistics, but also make decisions swiftly on a predictive basis - resulting in better freight efficiency and profitability."
