Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced John Fuentes has been promoted to service center manager in Mobile, Alabama.
With nearly 17 years of experience at Southeastern, Fuentes started his career at the Tampa, Florida, service center as a part-time freight handler. Since then, he has served in a variety of roles, including quality assurance leader inbound supervisor; outbound supervisor and, most recently, assistant manager in Fort Myers, Florida.
"John's character, integrity and love of serving others is evident in the energy he brings to Southeastern," said Matt Smith, regional vice president of operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. "He has been a great asset to the team in Florida, leading both culture and quality of service, and we look forward to the leadership he will provide in Mobile."
John, with his wife Misty, and their three children, are looking forward to relocating to the Mobile area.
