Melbourne lives up to most liveable city for PPG

September 12, 2017

Project Professionals Group's 10th anniversary conference in Melbourne from 6-8 September delivered informative sponsor presentations and productive member meetings while also providing attendees with the opportunity to experience the world's most liveable city.
PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said many of the project cargo network's members were visiting Australia for the first time and had the opportunity to see why Melbourne was voted the world's most liveable city for the seventh year in a row in the Economist Intelligence Unit's Global Liveability Report 2017.
"A cruise on the Yarra River showcased many Melbourne landmarks, and the conference venue at Southbank offered a sample of the local lifestyle," Mr Stephens said.
Presentations were made by BBC Chartering Australia Managing Director David Begg, Volga-Dnepr-Unique Air Cargo, USA, Operations Project Manager Victoria Cass and several new PPG members.
Editorial Director for Breakbulk Events and Media Gary Burrows delivered a presentation highlighting upcoming events and media opportunities.
Conference delegates also received a briefing on the Certificate in Project Forwarding workshop to run in Houston during the Breakbulk Americas education program from 26-27 September.
Further information about the course, including testimonials and registration, is available at Project Professionals Group.
