Southeastern Freight Lines Promotes Jim Jones to Regional Vice President of Operations

Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Jim Jones has been promoted to regional vice president of operations. Jones will lead teams in the south-central region of the United States, covering 17 service centers spanning four states, including parts of Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.

Jones has more than a decade of experience at Southeastern, where he began his career as a driver trainee in Norfolk, Virginia. After meeting and exceeding expectations as a pickup and delivery driver, he was promoted to various leadership positions on the operations side of business, including service center manager in Richmond, Virginia and Atlanta, Georgia.

Jones will be based in Dallas, Texas, and frequently traveling throughout the region. Jones, his wife and their six-month-old son, are very excited about the new opportunity and look forward to serving the Southeastern Freight Lines team in a new capacity.
