Cloud Logistics Partners With Breakthrough Fuel to Strengthen Customers' Supply Chains

October 11, 2016
No Comments

Cloud Logistics, a leading innovator and provider of next-generation transportation management systems (TMS) is working with Breakthrough Fuel, the industry's first supply chain fuel management company, to better manage fuel consumption, achieve fuel cost savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Cloud Logistics and Breakthrough Fuel recently completed integration of the TMS to the Breakthrough Fuel platform. Scott Tesoriere, Vice President of Technology for Cloud Logistics added, "Our integration will enable all Cloud Logistics' clients to benefit from the capabilities of Breakthrough Fuel. We are already helping a major aerospace supplier to Boeing and Airbus create tremendous savings through more effective management of their logistics networks. Helping them recover additional savings through a more dynamic fuel management system will enable them to take greater control of their supply chains."

"We are proud to work with Cloud Logistics to support shippers across industries, as they work to reduce the cost, consumption, and emissions associated with fuel in their supply chain. Working with an innovative provider like Cloud Logistics allows us to create flexible solutions that meet our clients' needs in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving business environment", said Elaine Stephens, Vice President Technology and Data Science for Breakthrough Fuel.

Breakthrough Fuel represents the first of multiple complementary technology partnerships Cloud Logistics will be announcing over the coming months. These joint solutions will offer Cloud Logistics' customers and prospects a combination of innovation and efficiency designed for increased, rapid freight savings and improved visibility.

Breakthrough Fuel creates actionable strategies to reduce energy cost, consumption and emissions within their clients transportation supply chains. In 2015, Breakthrough eliminated more than 5.6 million gallons of fuel from their clients supply chains and reduced their collective carbon footprint by more than 57 thousand metric tons of CO2.
