SYNERGY INCLUDED IN GARTNER®'S FIRST EVER EUROPEAN WMS MARKET GUIDE

July 28, 2016
No Comments

Synergy Logistics - the company behind the Snapfulfil warehouse management system - has become one of only nine companies to be included as a Representative Vendor in Gartner®'s first Market Guide for European Warehouse Management Systems*.

Already one of just 12 companies in the world featured in Gartner®'s January 2016 Magic Quadrant for Warehouse Management Systems, Synergy believes its inclusion in the new guide recognizes its strong position in the rapidly growing European WMS market.

According to the guide, "European WMS revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the last three years has been double that of North America, with 12% CAGR for Europe and 6% for North America."

The aim of the guide is to provide European company heads of logistics with an overview of the market for regionally centric WMS solutions and help identify the appropriate WMS vendors to evaluate for their WMS requirements.

In addition to the functionality of a WMS, the guide recommends that "given the mature state of the WMS marketplace, logistics leaders should consider the following topics in addition to functionality when evaluating WMS providers. These include "the adaptability of the WMS technical architecture" and the vendor's and/or ecosystem's "domain expertise in translating business goals and objectives into specific WMS functional requirements."

Synergy's CEO, Tony Dobson says: "Gartner®'s new guide is a fantastic resource for companies looking to implement a WMS for the first time or to replace a legacy system which may have become expensive to maintain or is no longer fit for purpose.

"The guide's recommendations are also music to our ears. We believe they confirm the importance of many of the things that make Snapfulfil unique. Our rules-based system is incredibly quick to configure and can therefore be implemented in as little as six weeks and also has inbuilt flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.

"We also believe in solving problems, not just selling software. This requires a proper understanding of every customer's challenges and aspirations in order to design a solution which properly meets their particular requirements."
