CBRE Hires Tripp Eskridge To Lead Project Management For Industrial Facilities

July 21, 2016
No Comments

Los Angeles - July 21, 2016 - CBRE Group, Inc., today announced that Tripp Eskridge has joined the company as managing director of Project Management Services. Mr. Eskridge is a veteran project management executive with more than 30 years of experience managing the design and construction process for industrial facilities and in plant engineering.

Mr. Eskridge, who was previously with JLL, will lead CBRE's expansion of its business providing project management services for Industrial & Logistics clients, drawing on his deep experience overseeing build-to-suit and tenant-improvement for industrial projects. This expertise is critical as U.S. industrial construction races to keep up with surging demand for warehouses and distribution centers from e-commerce users.

Based in Atlanta, Mr. Eskridge reports to Mark Fewin, CBRE's executive managing director of Project Management Services, and will work closely with Scott Marshall, CBRE's executive managing director of Industrial & Logistics, and others in that division.

"We're very excited to have Tripp join our Project Management team, where he will strategically enhance our ability to deliver exceptional client outcomes for our Industrial & Logistics clients in the Americas," Mr. Fewin said.

Mr. Eskridge's expertise includes cross-dock distribution; automated material handling; and designing freezer/cooler facilities and many types of manufacturing plants. He will team with CBRE's Advisory & Transaction Services professionals to advise and assist clients in minimizing project costs and long-term risk in relation to operational processes, material-handling systems and design and capital management.

Mr. Eskridge spent the past 10 years at JLL, serving more than 35 industrial and logistics clients across the U.S. He founded and led a national industrial project management practice group that developed more than 25 million square feet of ground-up and tenant-improvement projects.

Prior to JLL, Mr. Eskridge held multiple positions at United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS), including serving as Director of Supply Chain Solutions in the Americas, with responsibility for more than 1,800 facilities.

"The location, design and construction of industrial facilities have never been more important to companies' supply chains and their overall business success than it is now, given the rapid expansion of e-commerce," Mr. Marshall said. "Adding a project-management expert of Tripp's caliber will allow CBRE to better help our clients create the infrastructure they need to quickly move goods from the dock to their customers' doorsteps and elsewhere."
