Fortna and Ulta Beauty named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100

June 28, 2016
No Comments

READING, PA (June 28, 2016) - Fortna®, the distribution experts®, is proud to be named to the 2016 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 for its joint project with Ulta Beauty. The SDCE 100 list highlights supply chain projects that have produced measurable gains and return on investment for companies, through increased efficiency.

The project with Ulta Beauty included new IT system capabilities, store-ready shipments for faster shelf stocking in stores, and leveraged a common pool of inventory across channels. Ulta Beauty improved store delivery times by more than 50 percent, while improving inventory accuracy and reducing out-of-stocks.

"We're proud that our work with Ulta Beauty is among the '100 Great Supply Chain Projects' named on this year's SDCE 100 list," said Andrew Breckenridge, executive vice president at Fortna. "It is a testimony to the positive business results achieved by the project that allow Ulta Beauty associates to spend more time focused on their valued guests."

"This project was important to support our strong store and ecommerce growth while also enhancing service and enabling new omni-channel capabilities," said Derek Hornsby, chief supply chain officer at Ulta Beauty. "We appreciate Fortna's partnership throughout the project."

The complete listing of the 2016 award winners is available at www.SDCExec.com and appears in the June 2016 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.
