Bellevue, WA — June 21, 2016 — Seagull Scientific, Inc. announced today that company President Harold Boe has assumed the title of President and CEO. Seagull's founder, Chairman and former CEO Jeremy Seigel retains his role as Chairman.
"Harold joined Seagull in 1988 as a software developer," said Seigel. "As our company grew, he developed not just his technical skills but also his managerial abilities, quickly blossoming into our first Chief Technology Officer, then into President and CTO in 1996, and finally into just President in 2013. Over that time he has taken on direct responsibility for Sales, Support, Marketing, Accounting and HR — essentially all day-to-day operations. I am delighted that his title finally reflects the full scope of the responsibilities he has taken on."
