(Fort Wayne, IN - June 14, 2016) - Interstate Warehousing in Franklin, IN has recently been re-certified at SQF (Safe Quality Foods) Level 2 without any non-conformances being found. This is the third certification audit for the facility, and first unannounced audit.

"Food safety has always been a top priority at Interstate Warehousing, and with multiple provisions of the Food Safety Modernization Act going into effect in 2016, it is more important than ever before," said John Tippmann, Jr., President of Tippmann Group / Interstate Warehousing. "The SQF certification helps underscore Interstate Warehousing's continuing support of the food safety processes."

As with every inspection done at Interstate Warehousing, management and staff will use this as an opportunity to review, refine and further improve our food safety practices.

"Our employees at Interstate Warehousing have made continuous efforts over the years to provide unparalleled customer service to those who entrust us with their products in our warehouse," said Matt Helbling, Senior Vice President of Interstate Warehousing. "The staff's attention to detail and understanding of proper food safety procedures are critical to the overall satisfaction of our customers."

Interstate Warehousing, a Tippmann Group company, owns and operates more than 100 million cubic feet of refrigerated and frozen warehouse space nationwide. The Franklin, IN warehouse is the largest facility in the network, and has been SQF Level 2 certified since 2014.
