NEMF Begins Full-State Coverage To and From West Virginia!

May 25, 2016
No Comments

On May 31st, NEMF further expanded its terminal network by opening a new facility at 500 River East Drive in Belle, West Virginia. The company will provide full state coverage by utilizing its new Charleston terminal as well as its Roanoke, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Pittsburgh, PA and Columbus, OH terminals. According to Ed Generous, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, "The West Virginia market has been under-served and the company has had a great deal of interest from customers in providing direct service to the State. We think now is the right time to take advantage of this opportunity." According to company President and COO, Thomas Connery, "New England Motor Freight now provides direct service for both B to B and residential delivery to 18 states throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic Regions as well as the Island of Puerto Rico through a network of 40 terminals and warehouse locations." In addition to its LTL services, NEMF operates a 110 door, 25 acre Container Freight Station at the Port of NY and NJ, offering drayage and container de-consolidation. The company's Import/Export division provides dedicated service to the Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding community and through its Eastern Freightways subsidiary, offers full truckload and flatbed transportation.
