Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced it received the 2016 Gold Level Regional Carrier of the Year award by Cambro Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment and supplies to the foodservice industry worldwide. This is the third consecutive year Southeastern has been recognized with this award.
The Regional Carrier of the Year award is awarded annually to carriers that exhibit exceptional delivery quality and reliability. Southeastern was chosen for its high level of success with on-time pick-ups and deliveries as well as completed deliveries. In addition, Southeastern was also recognized for its overall ease of doing business and for being the carrier with the fewest freight claims filed for the year, with only one claim filed over more than 2,500 shipments.
"Being recognized by Cambro Manufacturing with this award is a true testament to the quality without question culture our company operates by," said Lisa Davis, national account manager, Southeastern Freight Lines. "We are proud to work with Cambro and look forward to continuing our great partnership for many years to come."
Cambro's Logistics Key Account Manager Mike Dunn personally presented the award to Southeastern.
The Gold Level Regional Carrier of the Year award reflects Southeastern's excellence in the industry and its goal to maintain its "quality without question" culture.
