The following is the list of outstanding workers who were recognized from the Shevell Group of Companies: Arthur Fernandes has been honored as the 2015 winner of the Arlene Shevell Award. This award is given annually to the worker who exemplifies the highest level of dedication and contribution within the Shevell Group. The 2015 winner of the Mark Jensen Award is Jeremy Stein from our Lehighton, PA Shop. This award is presented annually to the worker who demonstrates administrative and management excellence. Al Shumskis of our Newburgh, New York Terminal has been named the recipient of the 2015 Jon Shevell Memorial Award for the best overall local sales performance and growth within the Shevell Group of Companies. Janie Marazo of the Elizabeth, NJ terminal has been named the recipient of the 2015 Paul Danzak Sales Award for most improved Account Executive. George Marshall is the recipient of the 2015 National Accounts Sales Award. The NEMF Richmond, VA terminal, under the leadership of manager Tim Hoechst has been named Terminal of the Year for 2015. The winner of the Freight Operations Supervisor of the Year Award for 2015 is Lawrence Green, supervisor at our South Plainfield, NJ terminal. Eastern Freight Ways is pleased to announce that Mitch Bookbinder has been named the Eastern Freight Most Valuable Player for 2015. Mitch joined Eastern Freight Ways in February of 2010. Recipients will be presented with an engraved crystal plaque recognizing their accomplishments.
