Yale introduces new heavy-duty end rider series

Yale Materials Handling Corp. debuted its new MPE060-080VG end rider series, which the company says has been designed to withstand heavier duty cycles. The series offers a capacity range of 6,000 to 8,000 pounds to meet customers' needs in extreme operating conditions.

The MPE series was engineered to exceed industry standards for strength in some areas, said Scott Aitcheson, vice president of sales. The forks, for examples, have been reinforced with 25 percent more steel than previous models. Other improvements include redesigned forks for ease of pallet entry and exit, a metal steering handle, heavy-duty linkages, a 20-percent improvement in torsional stiffness for increased durability, and more robust undercarriage parts, among others.

Yale introduced the MPE060-080VG at ProMat on Monday.
