Innovation and change took center stage at Modex 2018, which opened yesterday in Atlanta. More than 800 companies exhibiting their latest and greatest technology and equipment packed the show floor at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Meanwhile, during the opening keynote address, Juan Perez, chief information and engineering officer at UPS, outlined how the industrial Internet of Things is driving a "fourth industrial revolution." Today we'll be reporting on the keynote by tech guru Andrew McAfee, who urged listeners to ditch conventional wisdom and write a new business playbook based on artificial intelligence , crowd sourcing, and public platforms. .
