DC Velocity announced that Michael H. Terzich, a top executive at bar-coding and RFID provider Zebra Technologies, and Jennifer S. Batchelor, program director of the transportation department at online university American Public University, have joined the magazine's team of bloggers.
Terzich will focus his posts on the "value of visibility" in the supply chain. Batchelor will, among other issues, explore the fast-growing field of reverse logistics with her blog entitled "Two Sides of the Same Coin."
Terzich is responsible for the sales and marketing of Zebra's products worldwide. Since joining Zebra in 1992, Terzich has held a variety of executive roles in multiple regions. Prior to Zebra, he was director of operations for a five-plant industrial video production and duplication company.
Aside from her duties at American Public University, Batchelor is vice president of Grady Batchelor & Associates Inc., a management and marketing consulting firm. With more than 20 years experience in the transportation and logistics fields, she consults in the fields of general management, marketing, and industrial and economic development. Her teaching encompasses transportation management; retail transportation; intermodal; ports and terminal operations; supply chain management; reverse logistics; and third party logistics.
"We are delighted to add Michael and Jennifer to our team of bloggers, as they bring interesting viewpoints from different fields of supply chain endeavor," said Mitch Mac Donald, president and CEO of AGiLE Business Media LLC, and group editorial director of DC Velocity and CSCMP's Supply Chain Quarterly, which both operate under the AGiLE banner. "Our world is as far-reaching as it is rapidly growing. This philosophy informs our approach to blogging, which is to bring our readers expert opinion from those with a proven track record, regardless what segment of the industry they come from."
