MIT's Center for Transportation and Logistics conducts its annual seminar on Supply Chain Management Thought Leadership from June 22-25. The four-day executive seminar is designed to bring participants up to date on the latest in supply chain management and logistics issues and techniques. Participants come from manufacturing firms, merchandising organizations and logistics providers. The faculty for the program is led by Yossi Sheffi, director of the center, and includes several other leading academics from the MIT faculty. The program, which begins on Sunday afternoon and concludes midday on Wednesday, includes a mix of management exercises, faculty-led business case studies and lecture/discussion sessions. The registration fee of $3,250 includes all course materials, some meals and a seat at a Red Sox game at Fenway Park. Council of Logistics Management members can receive a reduced fee of $2,950.
