The Warehousing Education and Research Council has launched a new service on its Web site, the WERC Job Board. The organization says the Job Board is designed to put employers in touch with job seekers who specialize in the warehousing and distribution field. Job seekers can search for jobs, post a confidential resume online and sign up to receive e-mail alerts about positions that match specific criteria.

The site allows employers to post positions for a nominal fee, seek qualified candidates through a searchable database and receive candidate responses via e-mail.

In announcing the service, Rita Coleman, acting executive director of WERC, said, "Employers and job seekers in this niche are looking for the best resources to find each other. As a leading organization in the warehousing industry, WERC is excited to add this valuable new service to our Web site."
