No matter where in North America you're located, there's probably a "Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management" workshop coming to your area sometime this year. The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals will be offering its workshops—Fundamentals I and II—at locations all over the continent. The council says the first workshop, Fundamentals I, examines the tactical operational elements of supply chain management, such as transportation and warehousing. Fundamentals II tackles strategic questions related to safety, security and disaster recovery.
The workshops will be offered on May 7-8 in Newark, N.J.; on Aug. 20-21 in Vancouver, British Columbia; on Aug. 27-28 in Chicago; on Sept. 17-18 in Charlotte, N.C.; on Oct. 8-9 in Monterrey, Mexico; and on Nov. 12-13 in Phoenix. For information on the courses, visit www.cscmp.org.
