Material handling equipment maker Crown Equipment Corp. has opened a sales and service facility in Oklahoma to meet growing demand in the area, the company said today.

New Bremen, Ohio-based Crown said the new Tulsa, Okla., site would offer a complete selection of material handling technologies, products, and services, including forklifts, warehouse design solutions, parts and service, automated warehouse solutions, and connected solutions such as Crown's wireless InfoLink fleet and operator management system. In addition, the facility will support battery and charger service to ensure maximum forklift uptime.

"The material handling needs of our customers in this area continue to grow, and we¹re looking forward to providing convenient access to quality products and knowledgeable personnel from Crown Equipment," Bob Lyons, general manager, Crown Equipment, said in a release. "Our new Tulsa location will operate closely with our Oklahoma City Crown Lift Trucks facility to work with customers on a local level to help them determine the material handling solutions that best meet their needs."

The event follows Crown's 2018 opening of three sales sites in South Carolina and an expanded forklift facility in Michigan.
