Kuebix, Emerge partnership expands load-matching service
TMS provider enhances its load-matching service with Emerge Marketplace, giving shippers easier access to the truckload spot market.
Transportation management software (TMS) provider Kuebix is partnering with technology firm Emerge to expand its load-matching service and help shippers reduce their freight spend, the company said today.
Maynard, Mass.-based Kuebix said it will add Emerge's Private Freight Marketplace (PFM) to its Kuebix Community Load Match program. The partnership gives Kuebix users additional truckload capacity through Emerge's carrier marketplace and expands their access to contracted rates and the truckload spot market from one system, the company said.
"Kuebix is uniquely providing our customers access to their contracted rates alongside a digital spot marketplace for additional truckload capacity, all in one convenient system," Kuebix Founder and President Dan Clark said in a statement announcing the partnership. "Now members of the Kuebix community get the best of both worlds to find the most efficient rates and the capacity they require to meet their shipping needs."
Shippers seeking additional truckload capacity or more rate options can post their shipment to Kuebix' Community Load Match and start receiving spot quotes, the companies said. The new partnership adds Emerge's broker and carrier assets to the mix, allowing shippers to have their freight digitally matched with more available assets. The single platform and expanded access saves time and helps reduce overall spending on freight, the companies added.
"Customers gain access to this capacity without having to onboard each individual carrier and manage separate invoicing," according to both companies. "All of this is handled as a one-stop-shop through Emerge and Kuebix."
