How do companies seize opportunities in global markets and successfully execute global strategies? What's really happening in Europe, China and India? How do the current shifts in global economies and political infrastructures affect your future supply chain relationships? These are the kinds of questions that will be addressed at "Globalization: Getting It Right," an executive retreat sponsored by the Supply-Chain Council.
The event features a keynote address by Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek International and an analyst for ABC News, who will discuss how countries like China and India are marrying economics and technology with their own politics, culture and history. Other keynoters are Robert S. Kaplan, Baker Foundation Professor at the Harvard Business School, and Gene Slowinski, director of strategic alliance research at Rutgers' Graduate School of Management. The program also includes case studies offered by senior executives from PepsiCo, The Limited and IBM.
The event takes place Jan. 22-24 in Boca Raton, Fla. For more information, visit www.supply-chain.org.
