Hunt Brothers Pizza Selects Cloud Logistics to Support Piping Hot Business

Cloud Logistics TMS Matches Hunt Brothers' "Made for Me" Philosophy

Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc. which is a founding distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, the No. 1 pizza brand in convenience stores across the U.S., has deployed Cloud Logistics and its award-winning transportation management system (TMS) to manage their logistics network. Pizza Wholesale of Lexington, Inc. has two master distributors supplying 21 main distributors, which service more than 3,500 retailer locations across the country.

"Hunt Brothers slogan- Made for Me- exemplifies our culture of meeting our customers' need for delicious pizza when they want it, where they want it and how they want it," comments Wade Wickus, Vice President of Supply Chain. "We required a TMS that matches that philosophy. The Cloud Logistics solution gives us all of the functionality needed to manage our distribution network. I've worked with a lot of transportation solutions during my career. Without question, I've never seen a project this quick and easy."

The Cloud Logistics TMS offers a wide variety of functionality that was important to Pizza Wholesale of Lexington. In addition to traditional TMS features such as rating, tendering, invoice matching, etc. the ease of use of the Carrier Portal was of particular importance. They have a very close partnership with their strategic carriers, to the point where they actually involved some in the selection process. The carriers were enthusiastic in their support for the system, declaring it very intuitive and able to help them improve their productivity, as well.

Mark Nix, CEO of Cloud Logistics added, "Partnering with great companies such as Pizza Wholesale of Lexington is a real honor for Cloud Logistics. We look forward to helping them continue to provide incredible service and pizza to their customers while improving the bottom line with lower transportation spend and improved visibility to inventory in motion."
