HighJump Software Inc., a supply chain management software provider, promoted its recently launched Retail Advantage product at the ProMat trade show this week, demonstrating the tool's use for in-store fulfillment.
Users deploy the software suite to meet omnichannel demand in areas such as retail and groceries, and to profitably move goods swiftly from receipt to the backroom, to the store shelf and to replenishment. Retail Advantage achieves this by integrating with each store's point of sale (POS), planogram floor plans, order management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
One new customer is a large Canadian grocery chain that has applied Retail Advantage to power its "click and collect" online food ordering system, said Chuck Fuerst, director of product strategy. The application is based on the same foundation as HighJump's Warehouse Advantage warehouse management system (WMS), allowing customers to deploy the same platform for both dedicated fulfillment-scenter operations and in-store fulfillment activities.
