Wisconsin-based manufacturer Wildeck unveiled its new heavy-capacity lift, the 4XLift, at the ProMat trade show this week. The standard version of this four-post material lift (also known as a vertical reciprocating conveyor) can handle loads of up to 15,000 pounds, and the "high load" version can handle loads of up to 30,000 pounds. Wildeck can also customize the lift to provide an even higher load capacity.

The 4XLift comes standard with Wildeck's patented AutoSenz D-Series Overload Detection System. This safety control system will automatically shut down the lift if it detects that it is overloaded, improperly loaded, or jammed. The screen on the controller will notify the operator what the problem is. Maintenance and service reminders can be programmed into the controller as well.

Wildeck is already well known in the marketplace for its cantilevered and two-mast lifts, according to Hue Schlegel, the company's director of marketing. With the 4XLift, it hopes to demonstrate to the marketplace that it covers the full range of lifting needs within the warehouse.
