Reddwerks Corp. has issued the fourth generation of its warehouse software, Reddwerks 4.0. The solution consists of a full suite of modules—a warehouse management system (WMS), a warehouse control system (WCS), and a conveyor control system (CCS).

Deployment of the software starts with a systematic, mathematical, and science-based analysis of a customer's needs, which Reddwerks calls "distribution science." Reddwerks then analyzes customer order profiles and maps them into "data models," all written in the Java programming language, with an eye toward optimizing warehouse operations. State-of-the-art algorithms in the software are then applied to increase labor and equipment utilization.
