Patlite integrates voice, lighting

By DC Velocity Staff

Patlite, a Japanese manufacturer of lighting systems designed for warehouses and distribution centers, has introduced a line of MP3-driven, programmable voice "announciators." The announciators are the first product to integrate audio and lighting to provide alerts in a warehouse and DC environment, according to Patlite. Users of any of the five models can pre-program messages of all kinds into the MP3 software, the company said. The system will, at the push of a button, "speak" commands or alerts that are accompanied by illumination.
