E-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment startup MasonHub, Inc. has opened its headquarters and first distribution center in Los Angeles, the company said today.
Supported by $6.5 million in capital funding led by Canvas Ventures, the firm provides technology, fulfillment, and logistics services to e-commerce and omnichannel retailers. Online fashion retailers Carbon38 and 11 Honore are among the company's initial clients, the firm said.
MasonHub provides real-time omnichannel inventory and order management via its proprietary software platform and Shopify app, providing clients with two-day shipping domestically. The firm has nearly 100,000 square feet of fulfillment center space in Los Angles, with plans to open other locations across the United States to optimize shipping times, company leaders said.
MasonHub was founded in 2018 by CEO Donny Salazar, who has more than 15 years' experience working with retail e-commerce brands, including Flight Club, Chloe+Isabel, and Gilt Group. Chief Technology Officer Christopher Hazlett brings industry experience from logistics technology firm Transfix, as well as LinkedIn and Gilt, company officials said.
"Throughout my experience scaling businesses, I struggled to find a partner that could support a fast-growing brand and cared about the customer experience as much as I do," Salazar said in a statement. "With MasonHub, we're building the company and team we always wanted to work with. One that provides better service, better technology, and ultimately, a better fulfillment experience."
