Storage Battery Systems expands to Texas
Battery and charger manufacturer opens branch serving customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Battery maker Storage Battery Systems, LLC (SBS) has expanded into Texas, opening a branch in suburban Dallas, the company said earlier this month.
The Menomonee Falls, Wis.-based company said the branch will serve customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, designing and building custom motive power batteries for material handling applications. The branch will also stock some of the most common battery sizes, along with battery chargers, test equipment, used equipment, and reconditioned battery chargers, the company said. Services include battery installation, preventative maintenance, 24/7 emergency repair, repair/reconditioning, and battery reclamation, the company also said.
"After 100 years in the battery business, we're finally entering the Texas market," said Mike Hagen, president of SBS' Motive Division. "Our research shows that there is a significant need in the greater Dallas area for our unique approach to taking care of material handling customers. Our fully trained employees have extensive knowledge in distribution, warehousing, and industrial applications."
