Sealed Air, Cubiscan team up to optimize packaging
Sales and marketing agreement aims to expand market reach and provide customers with better omnichannel packaging and shipping solutions, companies say.
Packing solution provider Sealed Air Corp. and dimensioning systems company Cubiscan are collaborating to expand the markets for each other's products and services, the companies said this week.
The firms signed a marketing and sales agreement that will promote the joint use of their products, which they say helps customers create sustainable, right-sized, automated packaging that can minimize costs and reduce waste.
Sealed Air's automated fulfillment solutions are designed to minimize shipping, materials, labor and operating costs while optimizing productivity, the company said. Cubiscan provides systems and software that capture the dimension and weight data of packages to determine how much space a parcel or pallet will occupy on a truck or in a warehouse. Together, the companies say the solutions can help customers better manage omnichannel packaging and shipment logistics.
