By DC Velocity Staff

Canadian-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider FLS Transportation Services Ltd. said it has hired John Leach, former chief commercial officer at Chicago-based broker Coyote Logistics LLC, as its CEO.

Leach left Coyote in January after nearly three years at the unit of Atlanta-based UPS Inc. Coyote was acquired by UPS in July 2015 for $1.8 billion.

Based in Montreal, FLS has 10 offices in North America. It has annual gross revenues—revenues before the cost of purchased transportation—of $425 million. It is owned by private equity firm Abry Partners.
