Inttra adds Evergreen to shipping network
Four new members of network will exchange digital shipping data.
Ocean freight e-commerce portal Inttra Inc. said Monday it had added four new carriers to its digital shipping data exchange network, including container fleet giant Evergreen Marine Corp.
The news marks the continued growth of Inttra's push for the container shipping industry to adopt digitalization throughout the container shipping lifecycle, the company said. The other additions were: Namsung Shipping Co. Ltd., Unifeeder, and Antillean Marine Shipping Corp.
Parsippany, N.J.-based Inttra's network now includes more than 60 carriers, including all of the top 10, according to the company.
Joining the network allows carriers to provide an improved customer experience to shippers, and allows shippers to reduce costs and errors by booking and tracing containers from multiple carriers through a single connection, Inttra President and COO Inna Kuznetsova said in a statement.
