It's the final day of DC Velocity's coverage of ProMat, the biennial showcase for manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain equipment and systems presented by MHI. The 2017 show has attracted more than 950 exhibitors and thousands of attendees from around the world to Chicago's McCormick Place to view exhibits, hear exciting keynote presentations, and attend more than 100 educational sessions.

Today we report on two keynote presentations. The first is a preview of the findings of MHI's 2017 Annual Industry Report, presented by MHI CEO George W. Prest and Deloitte Consulting's Scott Sopher. The second is a conversation between NBA legend turned entrepreneur Earvin "Magic" Johnson and DCV's Mitch Mac Donald on how Johnson parlayed his skills and tenacity on the court into a successful career in business. We also bring you news from the show's exhibitors as well as videos highlighting some of the latest in equipment, technology, and services on display at ProMat.
