The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) and the William Loveland College have announced an agreement to offer a new Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree to TIA members and the larger logistics community. William Loveland College conducts business as the Institute of Logistical Management (ILM).
ILM has agreed to offer semester credit hours toward the M.B.A. for anyone who has successfully completed TIA's Certified Transportation Broker program and TIA's Ethics in Transportation Brokerage course. TIA and ILM will also continue to offer a joint program, which allows TIA to offer ILM's courses to its members and ILM students to have access to TIA's courses. Both organizations will "collaborate to enhance existing course offerings while developing a new curriculum to meet the demands of the market," they said in an announcement.
The Transportation Intermediaries Association represents transportation intermediaries of all disciplines, in domestic and international commerce. The Institute for Logistical Management, in business since 1923, provides distance learning and online programs in transportation, logistics, and supply chain management.
