Intelligrated has made several recent appointments to its management team. Susan Rider joins the company as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Rider, a well-known industry consultant, has held executive positions in the past at RedPrairie and Manhattan Associates. She is also a past president of WERC.
Also recently promoted to the newly created positions of vice president of regional operations are Eric Palotas, Northeast operations; Etienne Puckett, Southeast operations; and Brad Bijonowski, Southwest operations.
TNT Logistics North America has promoted Steve Gundlach to vice president of its fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business sector. He has been with the company since 1997, most recently as general manager for FMCG in Indianapolis. TNT also promoted Dennis Gerard to director of operations services. He will be responsible for new business startups, lean process implementations and warehouse productivity programs.

FedEx Express has launched the cargo industry's first daily express service between mainland China and Europe. The flights, from Shanghai to Frankfurt, Germany, were added in response to burgeoning volumes in that trade lane as Europe became China's number one trading partner this past year.
